Introduction

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer I never realized how many people were affected. My husband took it very badly. My friends and my family were devastated. Cancer not only affects the victim. It takes a village to survive.

Dedication

I dedicate this book to my Dr. Daya. He is a hero to many. This is my second bout and we are still ready to dance again. Without you where would I be?

Why Is This Happening Again?

When my oncologist and I rang the bell together in 2019 I believed I was through with this dreadful disease. Then in May 2022 He told me it resurfaced. I shook my head. I had no intention of letting it conquer me.

As a published author I believed I had to write again. That was what would get me through.
